Editors Choice - Thomas Sabo AW11 Launch Party

One Mayfair was the spectacular venue for the launch of the Thomas Sabo AW11 jewellery and watch collection.  Organised by Bryan Morel Events, the party was a night to remember with amazing live performances from Beth Ditto and Coco Sumner (I Blame Coco).  Madonna’s boyfriend Jesus Luz was guest DJ and the atmosphere was electric.  Other guests included Formula 1 driver, Nico Rosberg and party fashionista Henry Conway. Barmitzvah by Jamie Walters & Co

One Marylebone is famed for its corporate events, but Jamie Walters & Company proved that Private Events also work incredibly well by transforming the Grade I listed space over the weekend to create a combination of utterly unique spaces for 200 guests. In the East and West Galleries the reception mood was laid back contemporary, complemented by the sounds of “String Fever” performing from an elevated stage built within the centre of the bar and “Sav” the illusionist dazzling guests. Downstairs the stark contrast was astonishing with the foyer being split into a light white entertainment area, leading into a contrast space which was edgy and chic with a tiger print bar, food stations and black suede furnishing. John Lewis Christmas Press Show

For the second year running, John Lewis held their AW press show at One Marylebone. The company are the first retail brand to take advantage of the venues newest space, The Basement.

With a turnout of more than 300 journalists, from Vogue to The Times, the event was a huge hit with lots of coverage across the net. To give the event that fashion touch, the entrance was set with stacks of magazines and a mannequin dressed in a furled paper gown. The event made a first this year, not only by making use of the cavernous basement but also holding an exclusive catwalk show devoted to the new season menswear and women swear. MORE INFO

Activision’s James Bond: Blood Stone Game Launch

Mid July saw the launch of the new James Bond 007: Blood Stone game for xBox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles at One Marylebone. Joss Stone made an appearance to a stunning set including memorabilia from past movies and also the original Aston Martin DB5.
